Emo?

While browsing the archives of photobucket, I suddenyl stumble upon this shocking pic (for me :p). And you know what’s my intial reaction? F**k, is this emo?
Emo usually or now really are tagged with the word "suicide". I really don’t know why they act like these, however, flow of emotions?. It’s kinda weird to see photos like these (again, for me XD), bleeding, blood and stuffs like that.
What is the word emo means by the way?
I first heard of emo, as far as I remember, was around late 2003. My classmates on my high-school days drag along their newly purchased Compact Discs at school. They play it aloud in our classroom when there’s no instructors around. I first thought that it’s another Blink182ish type of music, then I suddenly realize that it started to sing like it’s crying. It’s kinda like listening to a baby cry, but its an average teen guy singing. With all those scream and vocal chord damaging voices I found it interesting.
Anyways, back to the picture, notice that lip cut through by a blade…drooling!
Why did they want to this kind of stuff?
Disgusting and intriguing and oooooooooh! it reall does look heart.
Well, try to ask your emo friend out there.
Do they live the lifestyle of an emo or just another wannabe?
