“EDUCATION IS NOT IMPORTANT TO SUCCEED IN LIFE”
Host:
Good morning everyone and welcome to the show “NAKED EYE”. We are here with our guests composed of different individuals in the society. They are here to give their own stand - about our topic, “EDUCATION IS NOT IMPORTANT TO SUCCEED IN LIFE”.
We have Ms. Tesa Rose Misa, a professor of the
Host: Ms. Tesa, as a professor of a well known university in
Professor: You know what, I myself also thought of that idea. But based on my observation, when I was in my grade school years, no person will ever progress without education. Education is a key of every person’s success in life.
Host: Thank you Professor Tesa.
Host: Now let’s hear the side of our guest student, Ms. Zenaida.
What can you say about this Ms. Mozo?
Student: My mom once told me that “Ang mga kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan” as what also our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal told us in our history. For me is how can this be possible if we, the supposed to be the “hope” of our country, don’t have education at hand. The knowledge we acquire from the lessons in school is irreplaceable. Thus, education can be the weapon of the future.
Host: Very well said.
Host: The award winning actress Ms. Alpha Mae Lagura.
I know as an artist you’re so busy with tapings, auditions and stuffs like that. Have you ever thought of going to school and finish your studies?
Actress: Thanks for the compliment.
About education, it’s so hard for me to fit it on my busy schedule. Though, I’ve always thought of finishing my studies. But because of my work, my busy schedule, it’s really hard for me. However, if given a chance to go back to this four walled classroom, why not.
Host: Well, good luck on your studies Ms. Alpha.
Host: Now let us hear the side of our resident Psychologist.
Ms. Michelle, what can you say about this?
Psychologist: You know these days, a lot of our kids happen to be not in school. They have their own reasons for not able to go to school. Most of the kids that are not in school are the sons’/daughters’ of less fortunate families. Poverty is really a big factor for those students who are not attending class in school. How can their parents send them to school that even securing food for the day is kind of hard to achieve. Imagine a person without education; it’s like a body without a soul.
(Just get the gist of your answers, if possible don’t memorize)
Good Luck!
Any suggestions will be very much appreciated
